Support for the organization of a PAN Parks Press Tour for journalists from European media (July 2006)
Client: PAN Parks Foundation
PAN Parks organized a Press Tour to the two Bulgarian PAN Parks’ network members - Rila and Central Balkan national parks for a group of Belgian, British, Dutch, French, German and Hungarian journalists. The tour is used as a marketing tool for both the parks and their business partners – the local ecotourism services providers.
Our responsibilities included:
Coordination
of the Pres Tour to the two parks with the State Agency of Tourism, the
two parks directorates and their business partners;
Cross cultural
orientation to Bulgaria and Bulgarians for the journalists provided by
presentation, discussion and a package of materials;
Development
of itineraries for two groups of journalists visiting the Rila National
Park in parallel as well as guiding and providing background information
to them;
Organization
of accommodation, food and transportation for the journalists in Rila
National Park and its surroundings;
Organization
of meetings with ecotourism services providers and representatives of
relevant government institutions.
